Alexa Roe, LICSW

Alexa founded Collaborative Wellness Solutions in 2021. During the pandemic she created CWS to better serve her clients changing needs. Utilizing telehealth, Alexa strives to empower her clients to find healthy solutions to heal and manage the stress in their lives. Living in the Boston area for the majority of her life, she has witnessed first-hand the fast pace and competitive environment that can feel overwhelming. With 10 years of experience in the mental health field, Alexa believes in incorporating the mind and the body in her practice with clients as they journey toward recovery and self-discovery.

Alexa received her Masters in Clinical Social Work at Boston College with a concentration in Neuroscience. Alexa specializes in eating disorders, anxiety, trauma, perinatal mental health, and working with athletes. She brings compassion and empathy to her client-centered approach and utilizes solution-focused goals to support motivation and overcome setbacks. Additionally, Alexa takes a trauma-informed approach while integrating cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems and mindfulness practices into her work with all clients. She believes in fostering a nonjudgmental setting where the collaborative process of therapy can take place.

Prior to founding CWS, Alexa provided therapy and worked as an eating disorder specialist at a group practice in Boston. Her experience also includes providing meal support and emotion regulation skills. Alexa gained experience at Tufts Medical Center in their Outpatient Psychiatry and Child and Family Services In-Home Therapy team. In her free time, Alexa enjoys hiking, skiing, cooking, and reading.
